Within the framework of Hispanic Day, a special program will be presented in collaboration with the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Mexican Cultural Institute in Spain and the Embassy of Mexico in Spain.

From October 13 to 16, Madrid will host a series of activities celebrating the cultural ties between Mexico and Spain, including film, lectures, and performance.

Program

  • October 13: Performance by Miguel Ángel Corona “El Reynito,” keynote lecture by Valeria Corona, and screening of The Headdress of Moctezuma by Jaime Kuri.
  • October 14: Screening of Cabeza de Vaca by Nicolás Echeverría.
  • October 15: Screening of Epitaph by Rubén Imaz.
  • October 16: Screening of 499 by Rodrigo Reyes.

Venue: Mexican Cultural Institute in Spain, Madrid
